Reiki is an ancient energy healing form that originated in Japan through Dr. Mikao Usui. Reiki is the Universal force of Life. Reiki believes in the abundance the Universe has for each one of us. Reiki helps channelize the bad or negative or low energies for grounding and replace it with the good or positive or High vibration energies. Reiki is channelized using both the hands and it has been used since the inception of mankind but the awareness came a bit later. For example, when a child is hurt and the mother just put the hand on the hurt and soon it starts to feel alright. Reiki heals physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and financial aspects of an individual. Reiki is always asked for and needs the person to ask for it. Reiki works through energies where the energies are healed, repaired, and rejuvenated. The unwanted energies are replaced with the balanced energies.
Reiki is learnt for healing the self and others. In others, the healing can be passed on to places like homes or offices, to animals, objects like home appliances or vehicles, to various regions of world under any disaster or need for healing, also, to relationships, to the nature. Reiki can also be passed to individuals that are far away through distant healing.
Reiki makes one understand the energy centers of the body which are also known as Chakras. There are major seven Chakras along with two others that helps us ground and connect us to our higher self. The Chakras corresponds to each colour of the rainbow i.e. Root, Sacral, Solar Plexus, Heart, Throat, Third eye, and Crown. The one for grounding and letting an individual stay in the moment is called the Integration Chakra and the one for connecting to the Higher Self is the Soul Star Chakra.
The healing is required when any of the energy center is blocked or becomes unaligned to its activities, and that’s when Reiki comes to play its part.
